Searching the human genome database

Google DeepMind‘s (London, UK) new AlphaGenome Atlas provides scientists with a comprehensive, searchable resource designed to accelerate understanding of the human genome.

Stowers Institute for Medical Research (MO, USA) investigator Julia Zeitlinger has partnered with the Google DeepMind team led by Vice President of Science and Chief Scientist Žiga Avsec to map and interpret the patterns in DNA that regulate biological processes inside cells. At the same time, additional scientific collaborators from leading institutions across the United States and England helped test how the new resource could be used to identify impactful genetic variation in humans.

Zymo Research (CA, USA), a biotechnology and protein engineering company, demonstrated top-tier performance in the AIntibody Design Challenge, an international benchmark of AI-driven antibody discovery inspired by the Critical Assessment of Structure Prediction.
